The environment in which CP operates sees constant change, market liberalisation, new competitors, the emergence of new technologies, new regulatory requirements and increasingly demanding customers.
According to NP ISO 56002:2019 - Innovation Management - Innovation Management Systems - Guidelines "An organization’s ability to innovate is recognized as a key factor for sustained growth, economic viability, increased well-being, and the development of society".
As innovation is a key factor in creating value in a company, CP aims to innovate more efficiently and effectively, and so it intends to adopt an Innovation Management System (IMS).
An Innovation Management System leads the organisation to determine its innovation vision, strategy, policy, objectives, and the support processes needed to achieve the desired results. It also increases the organisation's capacity to manage uncertainty and improves its sustainability and resilience.
