Student Accommodation CP: Coimbra

The CP Student Accommodation Project: Coimbra aims to adapt the building where the Coimbra Operational Dormitory was located into student accommodation under the Affordable Student Accommodation Programme, which is part of the National Plan for Accommodation in Higher Education (PNAES).

This project will finance the provision of 25 single rooms, one of which will be for students with reduced mobility. Once the adaptation work has been completed, the University of Coimbra will be responsible for managing this accommodation from the 2025/2026 academic year.

This project aims to boost CP's social responsibility component at a time when finding accommodation is especially difficult for higher education students, and deepen institutional relations and cooperation between the company and the University of Coimbra.

The National Plan for Accommodation in Higher Education aims to provide an integrated response to the accommodation needs of higher education students who are displaced from their place of residence, in a decent manner and at affordable prices.
